Thai Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing modality with roots in Hatha Yoga, Acupressure, and Metta (loving kindness).  The recipient is clothed while resting passively on a massage mat. The practitioner uses hands, feet, arms and legs to apply pressure to the body, gently and comfortably stretch muscles and circulate blood flow to joints.

In addition to relieving tension and stress, Thai Yoga Massage boosts the immune system by stimulating its energy lines which encourage the body’s energy to flow more easily.  This massage modality is  also particularly beneficial for creating suppleness in the joints and increasing flexibility in the soft tissue.
